Dear Julie DeSa Lorenz,
I have used the OLIS RSM 1000 rapid-scanning spectrophotometer and OLIS USA stopped-flow system for over three years. I have taken advantage of its ability to rapidly collect scans to observe multiple absorbing species in a single reaction. The collection of scans still allows sufficient sensitivity for me to examine small absorbance changes (0.003 units) on a millisecond time-scale. I am more than satisfied with the performance of the machine and its versatility. Additionally, I have received extensive advice from the people at On-Line systems who are always helpful, friendly and read to answer questions. We have just now upgraded the system with the newly advanced software and the RSM-16 scan disk. I am looking forward to collecting more data on the new system.
Sincerely,
Denise A. Mills, Ph.D.
