Denghui Cheng

Denghui came to Olis in October 1995 from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he completed his work towards a doctorate in electrical engineering (less only the defense). His other degrees include a BS in physics and an ME in electrical engineering.

At Olis, Denghui spends most of his time on computer programming, controlling and interfacing digital devices. He enjoys working on the innovative data collection and processing algorithms that extract and demodulate data from noisy, rapidly changing background at the best signal to noise level, which helps to build Olis rapid-scanning and CD instruments. He also works on all other phases of the software development.

When at leisure time, Denghui and his lovely wife, Caixia, like to turn their backyard into a small paradise of physic exercise, idea experiments and natural wonders. Denghui is happy to know that his only son, Tom Cheng, is doing much better in electrical engineering than he was.
