Stoyan Milev joined Olis in June 2006 after 5 years in Zurich, Switzerland where he received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Zurch in the group of Prof. Hans Rudolf Bosshard. Stoyan was born in Burgas, Bulgaria and studied in the University of Sofia for his M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology.

Stoyan is responsible for the in-house testing and on-site installation of Olis instruments in the USA and around the world. He remains available to all Olis clients to provide secondary training and technical support. His wife, Susanne, is also a biochemist, now works at the University of Georgia. Their two daughters were joined by a little brother in November 2009.
