Shown is the PMT high voltage required to maintain an appropriate gain level across the far UV spectral region. PMT HV is an indirect measure of available light. As indicated above, light levels drop off below 180 nm. At 170 nm, light throughput in the Olis RSM CD is such that the PMT gain is well within the available range, making possible meaningful CD measurements in this region.
