Comments:
slits = 1 w/ bl vs neutral density filter
red silica beads vert deposition.
5 deg inc 5-85 degrees, 5, 85 have some clipping due to accessory

This scan is of a Photonic Crystal with a stop band in the red region. The scan was taken at slits = 1, vs a front face mirror baseline, using a neutral density filter in the reference beam path. The scans are in 5 deg. increments from 5-85 degrees. Because of the sample, some clipping occurs at 5 and 85 degrees.

Comments:
These scans were of a Photonic Crystal with a blue stop band. The scan conditions were: slits = 1, 5 - 85 degrees (5 deg inc), 1 nm step size, front face mirror bl, neutral density filter in the ref. beam. Of particular interest to us were the scans between 40 and 50 degrees; using the vertex accessory we were able to further explore this region.
