The information in this and the following pages prove that the wrong conclusions can be reached when fixed wavelength data alone are used to evaluate a kinetic fit. All examples are of synthetic data—so that the "answers" are known absolutely—and all examples of 2D and 3D fits are done with the Olis RSM 1000 fitting software.
